Zulresso Infusion Center
We are located in a beautiful 320-acre research community in Tempe, Arizona. Our facility was created to maximize patient comfort and to facilitate an excellent patient experience.
Our Healthcare Setting is in compliance with necessary processes and procedures to comply with the Zulresso REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) and the FDA.
Our Women’s Health Expert and Medical Director, Dr. H. Randall Craig is dual-board certified in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.
Dr. Craig is committed to advancing the application of women’s health research discoveries to clinical care through multidisciplinary collaborations.
How will the treatment work?
Each woman who is eligible and consents to brexanolone treatment will be admitted to an infusion suite, along with her baby (and a family member or nanny to watch the baby). She will then receive the 60-hour infusion by our experienced, credentialed, and caring infusion nursing staff under supervision by our Medical Director, H. Randall Craig, MD to mitigate any reactions or complications. One week after the patient is discharged, we recommend she follow-up with her primary care physician, obstetrician and/or mental health provider.
Our high-quality infusion care is far less costly than hospital-based treatment, and we provide a room that will make women feel at home. We offer a well-equipped treatment room, comfortable bed, couch, recliner, hospital strength breast pump, changing table, large-screen television, extensive reading material, and free WiFi. Our facility includes a women’s locker room with private lockers, seating and a shower, kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and plenty of seating, exercise room, and a coffee shop (Pour Jo Coffee). During the infusion patients are welcome to walk, with a staff member, around the Research Park which offers shaded picnic ramadas, three lakes and over six miles of surfaced trails.
